Save the Mothers
Save the Mothers is a not-for-profit group that is based in Canada, but operates in Uganda and Eastern Africa. They work toward systemic change to reduce maternal mortality rates through education and other initiatives.
I worked on this project during my time at Thinkhouse design studio. They needed a fresh take on their existing logo. While maintaining the heart of the mother-child symbol, we integrated the icon into the wordmark, making the name easy to read. The identity was expanded to include a bright and versatile colour palette, flowing lines and typographic styles that reflected the hope of the organization.
